Francesca began dancing in 2001. After
just a few classes she became hooked and has danced ever since. She performs
professional solo and group pieces at many DC metropolitan area restaurants,
stage events, and private events. Through her enthusiasm and dedication, she has
become a dancer with a passionate and elegant style. Francesca has had intensive formal training in the modern
American, Egyptian, and Turkish cabaret styles of bellydance, and continually
adds to her dance repertoire by attending specialized workshops.
Francesca has
studied from the most highly acclaimed instructors, including Yasmin, Elizabeth Artemis, Faten
Salama, Noor-Jihan and Bonita Oteri. Francesca's performances include traditional and non-traditional props such as veil,
zills, cane, and peacock fans.
